Illegal Computer use

It's a lot of people in the word that download and copy music, movies, games, etc all around the world. Me personally I don't really think they should be punished because that is how a lot of people make their living. Now a days it's hard for most people to find jobs, so they turn to something else.
If you have ever been to Walmart during the summer you will see people walking around trying to sell DVD's, music, and things like that. It is Illegal to copy things without permission, but if the police doesn't know anything about why say something? It's not my business, it's theirs. If they want to sell Illegal things that's fine just don't bring it over here.

Good Digital Citizens

I think most people find it easier to be mean online than offline because it's not face to face with the person the are bullying. Most of the time when people do cyber bully they are per pressured because the want to fit in it, so they would rather bully online than offline. When it comes to how you treat people I think we need to remember that people have fillings and it's not okay to be mean online. We also need to remember that everything we say and post online never goes away. We have had to many young teenagers committing suicide because of people bullying them or not treating them right. You have to remember to treat people how you would want to be treated.

Things on the Internet Never goes away.

Things we post on the internet never goes away. You may delete it, but it's still there. You have to be careful about what you post because you wouldn't want your boss or anybody you work with to see something inappropriate things and take it back to you boss. That could end your career. It is especially not good to talk about people on the internet. It could possibly get back to them, and then that would start a big fight. To many people get killed or badly beat for what they put on the internet. Be wise about what you say or post on the internet.

How teens can use Spreadsheets.

There are a lot of ways teens can use spreadsheet. One way is to calculate their weekly allowance because i'm pretty sure almost every teen gets an allowance. Another is to keep track of your monthly budget. If your old enough your working and have to pay your own phone bill or car note so a spreadsheet would be a nice way to keep track of your budget. The last way is to keep track of the latest fashion prices, because if you'r like me you like to shop and doing this you can calculate how much you will be spending on clothes, shoes, etc which will prevent you from over spending which goes back to keeping track of your monthly budget. You can also use it for a chore schedule. Keeping track of your chores will prevent you from getting in trouble. Ha-ha. It's good for a lot of different things and I'm sure a lot of teens will enjoy using spreadsheet like I do.

Cyber-Bullying

Cyber-bullying is probably in the top 5 for the deaths of teens who were just starting their life . If I had a friend who got cyber-bullied these are the steps I would give them.
Step 1. Never respond to the bully. You may be tempted to respond but don't.
Step 2. Save the messages for proof
Step 3. Tell an adult
Step 4. Delete and block that person
Step 5. Delete your social media if necessary

Communication and Technology

Today's generation is all about technology. I do agree that we rely to much on technology but I think it's a good communication source. It's easier to text, call or email someone instead of sending a letter in the mail, but with it being that way a lot of people are having issues in school. A lot of people are having trouble writing papers because they are so use to using "slang" in there conversations with friends. I do believe that if there was no technology and all we had was pen and paper to contact each other a lot of people wouldn't have such a hard time with their writing skills.

Hackers

I don't understand why people hack computers to find others people information. It's like they have nothing better to do. I read that Russian hackers hacked into different companies and have stolen 1.2 billion user names and passwords affecting 420,000 websites. The reported break ins are the latest incidents to raise doubts since the issue of Target being hacked. Companies that rely on usernames and password have thought about changing this. Target is still trying to win customers back over after hackers stole 40 million credit card numbers and 70 million addresses, phone numbers and other personal information. It's just sad how people can still your information and go around using it without a care in the world. Be careful and be on the look out.
